Supporting Your Growing Up and Waking Up: Holding More of What Is and What Might Be

“We do not think ourselves into new ways of living, we live ourselves into new ways of thinking.”

– Richard Rohr

Looking for support in holding space for more of yourself, others, or our world?

Al is an integrative psychotherapist (for individuals and couples) in Melbourne (Naarm) aiming to create spaces of trust for clients to explore the intricacy and fullness of their own lives and minds. In this way, he supports clients in coming to a greater sense of resilience and compassion within themselves and their world. Using a collaborative, relational, embodied, and integrative approach, Al has experience supporting clients living with; depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and emotional and relationship disturbance.

As a queer man, he offers an inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ folk, and often works with men surrounding topics of masculinity, sexuality, and identity. Al also supports startup founders, CEOs, and leaders in developing a greater capacity for leading in regenerative ways. Within a transformative justice lense, he supports leaders in coming to understand ‘the shadow they cast,’ increasing regulatory capacity and the ability to hold and make sense in a complex relational world.

As an intersectionalist at heart, Al carries an appreciation for the integration of the personal, social, ecological, and spiritual. He integrates both Eastern and Western philosophy, and practice. In this way, he aims to create spaces for clients to develop a robust sense of individuated self through therapeutic inquiry, as well as a compassionate and generous self through contemplative practice.

Al currently offers telehealth and in-person psychotherapy sessions in Northcote, Melbourne for both individuals and couples.
